⚠️ Next Mon–Thu (Oct 26–29): the highest tide of the year

• Forecasts differ by a day: the Oct 22 update said 26–28, today's (Oct 24) report says 27–29. Be careful on all four days, 26–29.
• Water peaks around 5–7 a.m. and 5–7 p.m.
• Forecast: 1.70–1.75 m at Phú An and Nhà Bè stations, 1.80–1.85 m at Thủ Dầu Một — 10–25 cm above the top alert level (level 3).
• Riverside and low-lying areas are most at risk. Last month Bình Quới Street and Đinh Bộ Lĩnh Street (Bình Thạnh) flooded.

• Rush hour overlaps with the high tide. On these four days, avoid riverside roads or shift your travel time a little.
• Don't ride a motorbike into flooded streets — water in the engine will stall it.
• If you park on a ground floor or basement, move your bike higher in advance.

• Saturday (today): 25–34°C. Chance of rain 20% in Sài Gòn and Chợ Lớn wards (old D1/D5), 25% in Bình Thạnh, Thủ Đức and Gò Vấp, 55% in Nhà Bè.
• Sunday: 25–34°C, chance of rain rises to 50–65%. Afternoon and evening showers and thunder are possible.

• Bring a raincoat if you have plans on Sunday evening.
• Stay away from large trees during thunderstorms.

• Today's (Oct 24) cuts are all outside the center: parts of Tân Tạo ward, Thuận An (Dĩ An, Thuận Giao, An Phú), Bến Cát and Đông Thạnh in Hóc Môn.
• Most last only 4–20 minutes. The published schedule includes no areas in old D1, D3, D7, Bình Thạnh or Thủ Đức.
